no competitor can beat.
A
modular construction system is one of the key Erickson benefits,
providing custom design and building of structures that
are low cost, easy to maintain and easy to modify or expand.
Modular panels up to 26 feet high
can be assembled into virtually any size structure. These
panels are available in thickness of 4, 5, or 6 inches,
filled with energy-saving foamed-in-place fire retardant
urethane. The 97% closed-cell structure provides an aged
"R" factor of 30.1 at 4" thickness (increased
"R" factors may be obtained by using 5" or
6" panels). Weather-tested metal skins may be finished in
26 gauge stucco embossed coated steel, galvalume or custom
baked enamel color over steel or aluminum and are built
to withstand extreme temperature conditions.
Choice of construction type is based
on the size of the structure, usage, site conditions and
other variables. Three construction types are available:
-
- Ceilings are suspended from existing building
steel support system. Ideal for leased buildings
or situations requiring a high degree of flexibility.
Classified as equipment for tax purposes, rather
than a permanent structure, these qualify for investment
tax credit and accelerated depreciation. (Consult
your tax advisor for complete details.)
|
- - Ceiling panels
can be supported by pallet storage racks, eliminating
the need for conventional steel framing. A construction
that is both permanent and economical.
|
- - Ceiling
is supported by a conventional steel framework.
Recommended for wall heights over 24 feet. Other
determining factors may be: windload, snowload and
the potential for seismic activity. Also used under
certain site-specific conditions.

thermal seal, yet is easy to unlock, adjust or add panels
and re-lock. All locking assemblies are foamed-in-place
and metal straps may be run through the panel to connect
the hook and pin assemblies.
-
which includes a patented fiberglass reinforced plastic
doorjam on all personal doors that won't rust, dent, or
twist out of shape.
