The Erickson pre-assembled remote system
consists of a condensing unit assembly, an evaporator assembly
and all necessary controls for proper operation. The system
is supplied with a dry nitrogen holding charge. Refrigeration
lines are provided by the refrigeration installation contractor.
Installation involves placing the
condensing unit assembly in its location and securing the
evaporator assembly to the interior of the walk-in. The
electrician brings power to the condensing unit and the
evaporator assemblies to complete the installation. The
refrigeration contractor makes the line connections and
charges the system. On low temperature systems, the defrost
time clock is shipped loose and is installed in a convenient
location outside the walk-in.
