The Erickson pre-charged remote system
consists of a condensing unit assembly, an evaporator assembly,
a set of pre-charged refrigerant lines and all necessary
controls for proper operation. The system is supplied with
quick couples for easy connection of the refrigerant lines,
which are available in lengths up to 40 feet to accommodate
remote condensing unit locations. The systems are completely
charged and tested.
Installation involves placing the condensing
unit assembly in its location, securing the evaporator assembly
to the interior of the walk-in and connecting the quick
couple refrigerant lines. The electrician brings power to
the condensing unit and the evaporator assemblies to complete
the installation. On low temperature systems, the defrost
time clock is shipped loose and is installed in a convenient
location outside the walk-in.
